Retired and enjoy sharing things we've done that might help someone else. I also share good old recipes. After retiring I wanted to see our wonderful country on wheels but stopping and staying in an area. Getting to know the people, what grows there, the animals, weather, etc. Not pass through or fly. Yellowstone National Park was celebrating their 125th anniversary so I typed in Yellowstone one day on the computer and up came all the different summer part-time employment jobs. That was where we started!!
I found it so much fun to spend time in different areas of our wonderful country getting to know the people, their habits, way they talk, etc. We truly are a composite of different ancestry from around the world. Some of those old ways of our ancestors, maybe 4 generations like mine, we have grown up with stick with us. When they came here it was common that they would settle in an area from their country with others that talked their language. But it was very important to them to learn the language of this country they felt proud to call home.
